• The foundation in the lives of the children, is laid by upbringing and education. Jesus Christ is the Foundation (1 Corinthians 3:11). The name of our school refers to this.

We don’t want to lay any foundation than that which is laid, and we want to build upon it. In John 1, this foundation is called the Word that was with God, and was God, and through which all things are made. Hebrews 11:3 says that by faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God. Jesus, the Word of God, is our Beginning, our Foundation. Lives that are built on this Foundation are firmly rooted.

  • Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength [laid a foundation], because of Your enemies, that You may silence the enemy and the avenger.
    Psalm 8:2
  • The knowledge of God and reverence (fear) for Him are the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10). At school we do not only focus at head knowledge, but also at understanding with the heart and how to apply this in life. Wisdom is: to effectively apply knowledge and truth that is understood in life. All knowledge and science comes from God and finds its origin and purpose in the Word of God.

  • Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
    Matthew 7:24-25
